Woods & Co Recruitment is partnered with a top 5 surety MGA in the U.S., writing nearly $100M in surety premium annually. The firm has been operating for close to 10 years and continues to grow nationally through disciplined underwriting and strong broker partnerships.

They are currently looking to onboard a VP, Commercial Surety Underwriter to support continued growth.

• Underwrite commercial surety bonds across a diverse portfolio
• Evaluate financials, credit quality, and risk exposure
• Manage renewals and new business submissions
• Develop and maintain broker relationships
• Contribute to portfolio management and underwriting strategy

• Experience underwriting commercial surety at a carrier or MGA
• Strong financial analysis and credit skills
• Broker-facing experience
• Active Surety or P&C license (or ability to obtain)
