Woods & Co Recruitment is partnered with a rapidly expanding specialty underwriting platform who are seeking a Head of Environmental Underwriting to play a pivotal role in building and scaling a national environmental practice. The candidate will have a remit of the whole U.S. surety function from day one and a clear mandate to drive growth, build a team, and shape the underwriting strategy in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.

• 10+ years of experience in Environmental underwriting within a carrier or MGA environment.
• Proven track record of building, growing, or managing an environmental book of business.
• Commercial mindset with a strong focus on disciplined, profitable growth.
• Confident market-facing presence with established broker relationships.
