Senior Maintenance & Automation Technician

Location: Irvine, CA (On-site)

Type: Full-time (Hourly or Salaried)

Pay Range: $34 – $46 per hour (approx. $70,000 – $96,000 annually) + overtime

About the Role

This is a critical hands-on technical role responsible for machine maintenance, complex repairs, and support of automation installations. The ideal candidate is a strong technical problem solver who can keep machines running and help build and improve automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on production and packaging equipment.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and sensor-related issues.

• Support installation and commissioning of automation equipment such as conveyors and palletizers.

• Wire sensors, safety devices, and basic controls hardware.

• Fabricate or modify brackets, guards, guides, chutes, and other ‘hard parts’ to improve reliability.

• Document maintenance activities and improvements through work orders and logs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance or mechatronics experience.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and perform clean, safe installs.
