Audit Senior

Woods & Co Recruitment has partnered with a fast-growing, entrepreneurial public accounting and consulting firm with offices across Southern California, Las Vegas, and Alexandria, VA. This firm is on the hunt for a sharp and detail-oriented Senior Auditor to join their dynamic team. What do you do?

✔️ Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion
✔️ Perform audits, reviews, and compilations with accuracy and efficiency
✔️ Analyze financial statements, reporting, and internal controls
✔️ Identify high-risk areas and implement effective audit procedures
✔️ Create detailed documentation including internal narratives and workflows
✔️ Deliver audit findings and make actionable recommendations to leadership
✔️ Collaborate with staff and partners to meet client goals and expectations
✔️ Work directly with clients, building strong, professional relationships

What do you need?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3 years of audit experience
  • Working knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and external audit practices
  • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and analytical mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – especially Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, lead teams, and work independently
  • Willingness to travel within Southern California, 5% travel requirement
