Business Development Specialist

Woods & Co Recruitment have partnered with a global leader within the beauty and wellness sector specializing in the manufacturing of spray tanning booths, formulas, and spray guns. They are on the search for a Business Development Specialist to drive sales. 
  
As the Business Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, assisting with openings, product launches, demonstrations, and training.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has personal experience as a fitness instructor/personal trainer, or a huge fitness enthusiast, and has a passion for marketing tech-driven skincare and tanning solutions.
  
What’s in it for you?
  • $60K - 100K 
  • Remote - West Coast based (within close proximity to an airport is a bonus). 
  • 50% or more travel required.

  • Work collaboratively with a supportive team.   
What do you do?
  • Conduct market research and leverage partnerships to develop new business pipelines.
  • Cultivate relationships with key decision makers and customers within the wellness and fitness industry. 
  • Educate, train, and manage the sales activities with customers.
  • Attend and participate in market specific industry functions, such as association events and conferences.
  • Utilize and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to build a sustainable business activity plan with regular progress updates.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Other job responsibilities as assigned. 
What do you need?
  • Minimum of 3 years of Sales or Customer Service experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but relevant practical experience will also be considered.
  • Must have demonstrated experience as a personal trainer or fitness enthusiast. 
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and to drive the business with a high sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs that manage complex sales cycles including the ability to provide coordination and direction to your team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage customer executive relationships at the highest levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
  • Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, writing and presentation skills.
