Role Overview
This business is seeking a
Head Estimator to lead and oversee the estimating department, ensuring accurate, competitive, and profitable bids across all projects.
This role is perfect for a detail-driven leader with deep industry knowledge who can balance strategic oversight with hands-on estimating. The Head Estimator will play a key role in shaping project pipelines, mentoring junior estimators, and collaborating closely with leadership to drive business growth.

What do you do? - Lead, mentor, and grow a fully remote estimating team
- Oversee all bids — ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and profitability
- Modernize workflows, tools, and practices for scalability
- Review and approve estimates for custom acoustical panels
- Read and analyze architectural drawings for accurate takeoffs and scoping
- Act as the main point of contact for contractors & clients on project details
- Provide technical estimating support to Sales Managers
- Prepare and present monthly KPI reports to company leadership
- Collaborate with sales, operations, production, and global colleagues
What do you need?
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 5+ years construction estimating experience (acoustical or specialty interiors a plus)
- Proven leadership experience building and managing high-performing teams
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and estimating principles
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings
- Skilled in Bluebeam, Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and present KPIs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills (English required; Spanish a plus)
