Woods & Co Recruitment have partnered with the subsidiary of a nationally recognized mechanical construction company on their search for a Project Manager (with a focus on HVAC systems) to join their team. This is a huge facilities services business who tailor customized solutions to their clients properties. Their projects sit within hospitals, industrial, commercial and educational sectors, and sister companies do new construction.
The projects are based across NY and NJ, and we are searching for a qualified Project Manager who can manage the jobs that sit between $2.5m and $15m. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of HVAC and a mechanical background, a commitment to safety, and be capable of running projects within the five boroughs.

What do you do? - Management of budget, schedule, quality and technical performance.
- Review design drawings, shop drawings, and address any changes and issues.
- Create and maintain project schedules.
- Communicate regularly with wider mechanical, electrical and structural engineers.
- Oversee and coordinate manpower on job sites.
- Ensure safety of worksites.
- Coordinate purchase of delivery and materials.
- Work regularly with project teams and management.
What do you need? - Bachelor’s degree (engineering preferred).
- Mechanical background and knowledge of HVAC.
- Strong computer skills.
- AutoCAD skills are preferred.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Ability to run projects within the five boroughs.
