Our client are seeking a proactive and detail-driven
Operations Analyst to join our team full-time. In this hybrid role, you’ll play a key part in managing the flow of payments across our platform, onboarding new accounts, and assessing risk — all while supporting customers, internal teams, and partners to deliver a seamless, compliant, and high-quality payment experience. As the backbone of our daily operations, you’ll collaborate closely with our Dallas-based team and work alongside colleagues in Australia to optimize processes, resolve issues, and keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.

What do you do? - Oversee daily payment processing to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
- Track and reconcile fund movements across customer accounts, financial institutions, and our platform.
- Investigate and resolve payment issues, including failed transactions, chargebacks, and other exceptions.
- Partner with internal teams to diagnose problems and drive process efficiency.
- Perform KYC/KYB checks for new customers to ensure adherence to AML/BSA regulations and internal standards.
- Review account applications for potential risks and escalate when appropriate.
- Communicate with customers—primarily via email, occasionally by phone or chat—to collect documentation and clarify requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline onboarding and reduce friction.
- Spot operational inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions to optimize workflows.
- Participate in testing and rollout of new tools, payment functionalities, and procedural updates.
- Help document and maintain operational playbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
What do you need? - Minimum 2 years of experience in payments, fintech, banking operations, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate) with confidence using operational platforms and reconciliation tools.
- Strong analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Practical, solutions-driven, and comfortable operating in a startup setting where processes evolve rapidly.
- Self-motivated and organized, able to work independently while managing competing priorities.
- Clear, confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- Experience in customer verification, compliance, or risk assessment preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, law, or a related discipline preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with AML/CTF regulations and KYC/KYB processes is a plus.
