Woods & Co Recruitment have partnered with a New York City based boutique real estate law firm, in search of a Real Estate Paralegal to join the team. Founded 90 years ago, the firm has built a name for itself in New York City and prides themselves on offering an outstanding service to each of their clients. Working with this firm will give you exposure to high-end restaurant, commercial real estate owners and international fashion houses. 

Although small in size, this firm has big plans for 2025-26 and needs you to assist them with their of work. The successful candidate will have experience in a real estate law firm, be meticulous in their work and have a high level of organizational and communication skills.

What do you do?

• File court documents.
• Assist with transactions. 
• Locate previous judicial decisions and legal articles as relevant to cases.
• Organise documents and coordinate production of documents.
• Review and analyse loan documents.
• Attend and participate in meetings.
• Prepare documents and correspondence.
• Office administration duties. 

What do you need?

• To be New York based or within commute to the city.
• Experience in a real estate law firm.
• Experience in commercial transactions.
• Organizational skills.
• High level of written and verbal communication skills. 
• “Can do” attitude.
• Time management skills.
