Sales Development Representative.
As a
Sales Development Representative you will leverage off your prior experience in sales to prospect new business via a range of business development activities including but not limited to; cold calling, LinkedIn engagement, emailing and site visits. What do you do?
- Prospect Identification and Outreach: Research and identify potential leads, and initiate contact via cold calls, emails, or social media to generate interest in the company’s products or services.
- Lead Qualification: Assess the potential of prospects by understanding their needs, budget, and decision-making process to determine if they are a good fit for further engagement.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain and update the sales pipeline by accurately recording and tracking interactions with prospects in the CRM system.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings or demos between qualified leads and the sales team to move the sales process forward.
- Collaboration and Feedback: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine lead generation strategies, provide feedback on lead quality, and contribute to the continuous improvement of outreach methods.
What do you need?
- 1-2 years' experience in a high volume, outbound sales role
- Experience with or within the tech industry highly preferred
- A great attitude and desire to forge a career in sales
- Excellent verbal communication skills
