About the Role
We are currently seeking a Senior Backend Engineer who is passionate about building robust and scalable backend systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to dive deep into the company's eCommerce platform, architecting and maintaining services that support the front end while ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
  
Responsibilities

• System Design & Development: Design, implement, and maintain backend services that enhance the eCommerce platform.
• Microservices Mastery: Develop and optimize microservices, ensuring efficient communication within the system and with the frontend.
• Collaborate & Integrate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Data Management: Implement secure, efficient, and scalable data storage solutions.
• Technical Leadership: Promote best practices, introduce new backend technologies, and facilitate ongoing team education.

  
About You

• Startup Enthusiasm: Thrive in the dynamic, fast-paced environment of early-stage startups.
• Technical Depth: Possess 5+ years of backend development experience, with a strong focus on eCommerce.
• Tech Stack Proficiency: Have a solid understanding of languages such as Java, Go, or Python, along with hands-on experience with backend frameworks and tools.
• eCommerce Expertise: Demonstrate profound knowledge of eCommerce dynamics and platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce; Cart, Order, Payments).
• Microservices: Bring extensive experience in designing and managing microservice architectures.
