As part of their strategic U.S. expansion, they’re seeking a VP, Production Underwriter to lead growth across two key regions-NY & Chicago. This individual will blend strong technical underwriting expertisewith established broker relationships to drive profitable production and portfolio performance.

What you’ll do:

• Lead underwriting and portfolio performance across a key U.S. regions.
• Drive profitable new business through strong broker and distribution relationships.
• Partner with actuarial, product, and claims teams to refine pricing and coverage strategy.
• Identify emerging exposures and adapt underwriting frameworks proactively

  
What you’ll need:

• 7+ years of underwriting experience within specialty or emerging risk lines.
• Proven record of profitable growth and broker relationship management.
• Strong technical understanding of underwriting principles, pricing, and market dynamics.
• Entrepreneurial mindset — thrives in fast-paced, small-team environments.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with credibility across brokers and peers.
