West Coast Sales Manager (Architecture & Design)

Woods & Co Recruitment has partnered with a high-end provider of acoustic solutions that blend performance and aesthetics, offering tailored sound solutions for architectural spaces like offices, museums, concert halls, and public buildings. This business is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and expand their sales efforts on the West Coast, based in Los Angeles.
This candidate will bring experience within the building materials sector and have strong ties and connections to the A&D community across California. You'll lead business development and sales initiatives, and play a pivotal role in the continued growth of this global organization.

What do you do?
  • Develop and execute business development plans and sales strategies in close coordination with the company's Acoustics Director and local Managing Director
  • Grow the acoustics client base by targeting leading architects, designers, general contractors, and major international projects across Southern California
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets, measured by KPIs such as client meetings, lead generation, issued quotes, and closed deals
  • Build and deepen relationships with contractors, project managers, and end-users, securing high-value regional projects
  • Collaborate with other Sales Managers and internal teams to generate leads and pursue business opportunities
  • Become a subject-matter expert on the company's acoustics solutions, acting as a trusted technical advisor for key clients and prospects
  • Deliver clear, accurate, and timely proposals, covering pricing, delivery timelines, and sales terms
  • Continuously analyze market trends to uncover new opportunities, potential challenges, and product enhancements

  • Excellent customer service instincts, with a proven ability to nurture and sustain long-term client relationships
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving, negotiation, and time-management skills
  • Highly driven, energetic, and self-motivated; takes initiative and follows through
  • Pragmatic and action-oriented; focused on execution and outcomes
  • Hands-on, solution-focused attitude with a willingness to try new approaches
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus
