Woods & Co Recruitment has partnered with a leading acoustic design company known for their high-end textile solutions in commercial interiors. We’re on the lookout for a skilled and hands-on Field Technician to join their Long Island-based operations team. What do you do?

• Reupholster high-end fabric-wrapped acoustic panels using specialized tools and techniques
• Perform on-site repairs and touch-ups on installed panels across the U.S.
• Safely remove, transport, and reinstall panels for refurbishment or rework
• Collaborate with contractors and site supervisors to ensure seamless project execution
• Maintain detailed records of materials used and work completed
• Follow all safety protocols while delivering clean, precise results
• Assist with warehouse-based duties during off-site project gaps

What do you need?

• 5+ years of experience in construction, upholstery, finish carpentry, or related trade
• Comfort using hand tools, adhesives, and working from ladders or lifts
• Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
• Valid driver’s license and passport – must be open to nationwide travel
• Professional attitude and ability to communicate clearly with commercial clients
• Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend work as needed

Nice to have (but not required):

• Experience with acoustical materials
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification
