Executive Director of Operations

Our Client, a premier hospitality and events organization, is seeking an accomplished Executive Director of Operations (EDO) to oversee all Front of House functions — including Banquets, Venue Operations, and Guest Services.

This is a highly visible leadership role for a strategic, hands-on operator who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. The EDO will inspire teams, drive excellence across departments, and ensure that every event reflects the company’s world-class standards of quality, hospitality, and operational precision.


What You’ll Do

  • Oversee all Front of House operations, uniting Banquets, Venue Operations, and Guest Services under a shared vision of exceptional service and efficiency.

  • Provide engaged, on-the-floor leadership during major events, fostering strong relationships with guests, clients, and staff.

  • Develop and execute annual business and departmental operating plans that enhance guest satisfaction, streamline operations, and strengthen profitability.

  • Conduct regular departmental reviews, analyzing performance and financials to drive accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Partner closely with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless event execution, remarkable food quality, and creative presentation that reflects Our Client’s brand.

  • Collaborate with Property Operations to maintain a best-in-class venue in terms of appearance, functionality, and safety.

  • Support the President/GM with strategic initiatives, including recruitment, budgeting, and long-term business planning.

  • Serve as Acting GM when needed, maintaining operational and cultural consistency across the organization.


What You Bring

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in high-volume, quality-focused hospitality operations (such as hotels, catering venues, or private clubs).

  • Proven success managing multiple direct reports and departments in a complex, service-driven business.

  • Strong background in Food & Beverage operations, banquet execution, and guest experience management.

  • Deep understanding of P&L oversight, cost controls, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills — able to motivate, mentor, and inspire across all levels.

  • High energy, adaptability, and professionalism with the stamina to thrive in a dynamic environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience
