What do you do?
Lead and develop the Quality Assurance function across production and operations
Implement and maintain QA/QC systems to ensure consistent product quality and compliance
Establish SOPs, inspection protocols, and testing procedures across all product lines
Oversee quality checks on raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and packaging processes
Identify defects, root causes, and implement corrective/preventative actions (CAPA)
Ensure compliance with food-grade packaging regulations and safety standards
Partner cross-functionally with production, supply chain, and leadership teams
Manage audits (internal and external), ensuring adherence to industry standards
Build and mentor a high-performing QA team as the business scales
What do you need?
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field
5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within manufacturing (packaging or food-grade preferred)
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, systems, and continuous improvement frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
Experience with audits, compliance, and regulatory standards (FDA, ISO, etc.)
Proven ability to implement scalable quality systems in a fast-growth environment
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating on the production floor
