Focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement, they are looking to bring on a highly skilled Machine Vision & Inspection Engineer to help drive product quality, inspection reliability, and automation performance across their manufacturing operations.

Together, we are on the lookout for a technically strong and solutions-driven engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of machine vision inspection systems. This role gives you the authority to develop advanced inspection processes that ensure product and packaging quality while playing a key role in reducing defects, improving consistency, and supporting long-term operational efficiency.

What do you do?

  • Design and implement machine vision inspection systems for print verification, label inspection, orientation checks, presence detection, and defect identification.
  • Specify and optimize cameras, lenses, lighting systems, and mounting hardware to ensure stable and reliable inspection performance in production environments.
  • Integrate machine vision systems with PLC logic to trigger reject mechanisms, alarms, and automated quality controls.
  • Validate, test, and fine-tune inspection systems to minimize false rejects and missed defects while maximizing inspection reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with production, quality, automation, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for inspection setups, validation procedures, and requalification processes for new products or artwork changes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine vision and inspection-related issues directly on the production floor.
  • Support long-term quality initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve inspection accuracy, consistency, and operational performance.

What do you need?

  • 2–5 years of experience implementing machine vision systems within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong practical understanding of lighting, optics, inspection tuning, and automated quality systems.
  • Experience integrating machine vision systems with automation and PLC-controlled production equipment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working hands-on on the factory floor during testing, commissioning, and production support.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, quality, and operations teams.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
