With continued investment into advanced production systems and facility improvements, they are looking to bring on a highly skilled Senior Maintenance & Automation Technician to support critical production operations and ongoing automation initiatives.

Together, we are on the lookout for a hands-on and technically strong maintenance professional to help drive machine reliability, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and support the installation and optimization of automation systems. This role gives you the authority to play a key role in minimizing downtime, improving production efficiency, and supporting long-term operational performance.

  • Pay Range: $34 – $46 per hour (approx. $70,000 – $96,000 annually) + overtime

What do you do?

  • Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on production and packaging equipment to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and sensor-related issues across manufacturing and automation systems.
  • Support the installation, commissioning, and optimization of automation equipment including conveyors, palletizers, and packaging systems.
  • Wire sensors, safety devices, and basic controls hardware while ensuring clean, safe, and organized installations.
  • Fabricate and modify brackets, guards, guides, chutes, and other hard parts to improve machine performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify recurring issues and implement long-term corrective solutions.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment improvements through work orders and maintenance logs.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives focused on downtime reduction, system reliability, and production efficiency.

What do you need?

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or automation support experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience working with production equipment, conveyors, packaging machinery, or automated systems.
  • The ability to read wiring diagrams and perform clean, safe, and organized electrical installs.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across operations and engineering teams.
  • Comfortable working hands-on on the production floor in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
