Woods & Co Recruitment have partnered with a high growth premium beauty and wellness brand operating across the US and UK, in their search for a Marketing Director to lead the global marketing function from New York. Internationally expanding with franchise operations launching across the UK and India, this is a category leader entering its next phase of scale and strengthening its leadership team to support world class execution across all markets.
This is a service first business where the studio experience is the product, and marketing exists to drive footfall, member retention, and brand momentum across the US, while supporting franchise growth in the UK and a focused go to market strategy for the retail product line. The Marketing Director will work directly with the CEO and partner closely with the Head of US, owning the full marketing ecosystem from brand and creative through to performance, CRM, influencer, and earned media.
This is a brand led role with a sharp commercial edge. The right person speaks both brand and performance fluently but leads with a brand lens, weighing in on creative and copy from a US point of view, prioritizing social, influencer, and organic content as the primary growth engine, while working closely with strong paid counterparts and translating results back to leadership.

What do you do?
Own and deliver the global marketing strategy across the US and UK, with priorities ordered as: US studio performance first, UK franchise marketing support second, retail product go to market third
Lead the evolution and execution of the brand globally, ensuring consistency, cultural relevance, and a clear US point of view across all creative output
Define and lead the global influencer and talent strategy, with a strong emphasis on US market relevance and reach
Build and scale the community through events, partnerships, in studio activations, and member led initiatives that drive acquisition, retention, and rebooking
Own the end to end digital ecosystem including paid media, SEO/SEM, email/CRM, and ecommerce, setting clear targets across acquisition, retention, conversion, and lifetime value
Develop a more sophisticated approach to CRM and lifecycle marketing to drive repeat visits, membership growth, and product attachment
Manage PR agencies across the US and UK to deliver consistent, high impact earned media
Lead go to market strategy and retail execution for product launches, owning positioning, channel strategy, and sell through performance
Define and manage the global marketing budget, KPIs, and performance framework, ensuring marketing investment is directly linked to revenue and EBITDA contribution
Lead, coach, and develop a cross Atlantic team and act as the central point of integration across internal and external partners
What do you need?
10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role owning marketing in house
Background in premium beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or high growth consumer brands. Fast casual beauty concepts, newer acquisitions within larger beauty groups, and culture led consumer brand builders all welcome
Proven track record of driving growth and scaling brands in the US market, with bonus points for marketers who have successfully launched a UK brand into the US
Brand led with a strong commercial edge. You understand how marketing translates into revenue, not just awareness
Strong instinct for social, influencer, and organic content strategy as the primary lever, paired with the ability to manage and interpret paid performance
Experience operating within an omnichannel or multi market business, leading both internal teams and multiple external agencies
Hands on proficiency with Figma, Canva, Klaviyo, and Shopify. Experience with Zenoti is advantageous but not required
Direct, practical experience integrating AI tools into your daily workflow for ideation, production, and analysis
Confident communicator, naturally collaborative but decisive, comfortable operating in a fast paced, high growth environment with evolving priorities
