Woods & Co Recruitment have partnered with a fast scaling premium beauty and wellness brand in their search for a Regional Manager to lead operations across their four California studios. International in footprint, with serious institutional backing, multi market expansion already well underway, and a service led offering that has built cult status inside the category, this is a business sitting at the most exciting point of its growth curve to date. The West Coast has been earmarked as one of the biggest investment priorities for the year ahead, and this role lands right at the heart of that push.
This is a dual remit position based out of Los Angeles. You will lead the newest LA flagship from the floor every day as Studio Manager, while overseeing the wider California region as Area Manager with three Studio Managers reporting into you. The honest read is that the California market is not yet performing at the level the business wants and the leadership inside those studios needs lifting. The right person walks in, reads the room fast, and drives team engagement and performance at pace. Four studios may sound modest on paper, but with significant US investment funneled into the West Coast, this is the ground floor of a multi unit leadership ladder that very rarely opens up at this stage of a brand's curve.

What do you do?
- Own commercial performance across all four California studios including total sales, AOV, retail attach, membership growth, retention, chair utilization and labor percentage
- Run the day to day of the new LA flagship as on the floor Studio Manager, setting the bar for service, culture and revenue across the California market
- Directly manage two Studio Managers across the wider California region, coaching them through KPIs, performance and team leadership
- Lift studio leadership capability fast through structured coaching, honest performance conversations and clear development planning
- Drive local brand presence by plugging into the LA wellness, influencer, talent and celebrity scene through events, partnerships and visible studio activation
- Partner with Marketing on launches, workout to product ratios, promotional campaigns and event ROI
- Manage workforce planning, rotas and labor models to maximize chair optimization and profitability
- Own people processes across hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, ER cases and turnover reduction in partnership with the US People team
- Report into the Head of USA on California's commercial and operational performance with data led trade updates and clear trend analysis
What do you need?
- 8+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 at managerial level in premium retail, beauty, fitness or wellness
- A proven track record managing multi site teams and turning around underperforming studios or stores at pace
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to read sales, retail and service KPIs and act on what the numbers are telling you
- A people first leadership style with the ability to coach, develop and where necessary performance manage Studio Managers and floor teams
- An existing plug in to the LA wellness, beauty, influencer or talent scene that can be activated to drive local brand awareness and footfall
- Hands on operational experience across scheduling, rotas, compliance and budget management
- Comfort working in a fast moving, founder led environment where standards are high and pace is the norm
- Experience on Zenoti or a comparable retail or wellness operating system is advantageous
- A genuine love of the category and the on the floor work this role demands
