Woods & Co Recruitment is excited to be partnering with an innovative stealth-stage tech start-up that’s scaling fast and building something genuinely exciting in the sales engagement space.

We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who’s hungry to grow, confident on the phone, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who wants autonomy, ownership, and a clear pathway into tech sales.

If you come from hospitality, events, or customer-facing sales, and you’re used to building rapport quickly, handling high-volume conversations, and thinking on your feet, this role is a natural next step.

What’s in it for you?

  • Base salary of $60,000 – $80,000 + OTE.
  • Hybrid/on-site role in New York.
  • Full ownership of your own pipeline from day one.
  • Exposure to tools like Salesforce, Apollo, and Mixmax.
  • Clear progression into Account Executive opportunities.
What you’ll do:
  • Drive outbound prospecting to generate new business opportunities.
  • Engage venue operators and target customers via cold outreach.
  • Run multi-channel campaigns (phone, email, LinkedIn).
  • Qualify leads and book meetings for Account Executives.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records in Salesforce.

What we’re looking for:

  • 1–3 years’ experience in SDR/BDR, sales, hospitality, or customer-facing roles.
  • Confident and engaging communicator, especially on the phone.
  • Self-starter who enjoys autonomy and working toward targets.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a pipeline.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Nice to Have:
  • Hospitality or venue experience (bar, restaurant, events, guest-facing roles).
  • Experience in outbound messaging or cold calling.
  • Exposure to CRM or sales tools (Salesforce, Apollo, etc.).
  • Interest in tech, startups, or fast-growth environments.
