Account Manager | East Hartford, CT
Join a mission-driven tech company saving lives on America's roads.
Woods & Co is proud to be partnering with a global technology company with offices across Australia, the US, the UK, and New Zealand, in their search for an Account Manager to lead their Connecticut program. Since 2018, this organization has been developing world-leading imaging and AI technology to reduce road fatalities and injuries caused by distracted driving — and this role sits right at the heart of that mission.
The Role
This is a key management position responsible for the successful, end-to-end delivery of the Connecticut program — operations, reporting, maintenance, and governance — while acting as the primary client interface. You'll define and refine service delivery strategy, keep safety and quality front and center, and make sure the customer experience stays best-in-class. If you love owning a program from planning through delivery and thrive on strong relationships (internal and external), this one's for you.
What's In It For You?
- Join a company guided by five core values — Impact, Collaboration, Integrity, Care, and Delivery
- Work alongside some of the sharpest minds in road safety tech
- Be part of a real, measurable mission: saving lives and preventing injuries in communities across the globe
- Take ownership of a high-visibility program with genuine influence over strategy and delivery
What Do You Do?
- Lead and manage the day-to-day Connecticut program as the key client point of contact
- Drive strategic resource planning decisions and resolve competing priorities
- Ensure timely delivery of all contractual obligations to the highest safety and quality standards
- Identify and influence business development opportunities to help grow the account
- Champion continuous improvement across safety, quality, and cost
- Analyze program data to build reports that track performance, KPIs, and deliverables
- Manage project timelines and risks, including daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to executives and the customer
- Operate in line with established ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001, and ISO 14001 systems
What Do You Need?
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- 3-5 years managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs or operational delivery, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity
- 3-5 years in business development or sales, with hands-on RFP experience
- A track record of strong program governance — planning, execution, stakeholder engagement, and reporting
- Comfort with technical/operational systems, maintenance, and performance metrics
- Experience building or improving SOPs and driving continuous improvement
- Sharp analytical skills with a genuine focus on data integrity
- Familiarity with ISO-certified management systems is a plus
A Few Practicalities
- Must be willing to pass a police and driving history check (plus any additional client-required checks)
- Occasional national travel at short notice
- As a global company, some early mornings, evenings, or weekends may be required
