Client Engagement Specialist | Connecticut

Be the day-to-day client contact for a cutting-edge technology company working with a major government client.

Woods & Co is proud to be partnering with a global technology company with offices across Australia, the US, the UK, and New Zealand, in their search for an Associate Account Manager / Customer Success Manager to support their Connecticut government program. Since 2018, this organization has been developing world-leading imaging and AI technology to reduce road fatalities and injuries caused by distracted driving, and this brand-new role in their US structure is central to keeping that mission on track for one of their most important public sector clients.

This is a full-time, salaried position based in Connecticut (or within around an hour of East Hartford — the Boston and New York areas work too), reporting to the Account Manager.

The Role

Acting as the day-to-day contact for the client, you'll support the end-to-end operational and client management performance of a Mobile Speed Camera (MSC) government program. You'll bring proactive stakeholder engagement, rigorous operational oversight, and data-driven analysis that anticipates risk, demonstrates contractual performance, and protects and grows the client relationship. It's a role suited to someone who's strategically minded, operationally sharp, and comfortable navigating complex government environments — with real scope to shape service delivery outcomes and contribute directly to contract retention and growth.

What's In It For You?

  • Base salary of $65,000-$80,000
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k)
  • Paid time off
  • Join a company guided by five core values — Impact, Collaboration, Integrity, Care, and Delivery
  • Play a genuinely high-trust role as a representative of the business to a major government client
  • Significant scope to shape service delivery outcomes and influence contract retention and growth
  • Be part of a real, measurable mission: saving lives and preventing injuries in communities across the globe
  • Work alongside a broad, collaborative internal network spanning operations, systems, and delivery

What Do You Do?

  • Support the Account Manager in developing plans, timelines, budgets, and governance frameworks aligned with contractual commitments and client expectations
  • Act as the primary operational point of contact for the government client, building trust and addressing concerns before they escalate
  • Support day-to-day operational management of the program, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and KPIs, and escalating risks proactively
  • Contribute to tender and proposal responses, contract renewals, and supporting documentation
  • Help plan and facilitate governance meetings and client forums, including agendas, action tracking, and accurate records
  • Prepare and quality-assure program documentation — weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports, invoicing, plans, and risk/issue logs
  • Support executive briefings and presentations that demonstrate program performance and value to the client
  • Maintain structured risk registers and drive timely resolution through internal escalation and coordination
  • Coordinate program resources (equipment, materials, personnel) to ensure uninterrupted delivery
  • Build and sustain relationships with a broad network of internal and external stakeholders
  • Apply data analysis to monitor performance, identify trends, and surface insights that enable proactive issue management
  • Assist in building and maintaining performance reporting frameworks, including dashboards and client-facing reports
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform planning, presentations, and strategic decisions
  • Champion continuous improvement across program operations
  • Support field deployment coordination and WHS incident reporting in line with health and safety requirements

What Do You Need?

  • Experience managing government contracts is essential
  • Ideally, experience in technology-enabled service delivery, road safety, enforcement, or government technology programs
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and strength in coordinating tasks to support an Account Manager with client requests
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, able to engage confidently with government and senior internal stakeholders
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail under competing deadlines
  • Sound judgment and pragmatic problem-solving under pressure
  • A proactive, self-directed style with the ability to lead through influence
  • Unwavering professional integrity, confidentiality, and accountability

A Few Practicalities

  • Based in Connecticut, or within around an hour of East Hartford (Boston and New York areas welcome to apply)
  • Must be willing to pass a police and driving history check (plus any additional client-required checks)
  • Occasional national travel at short notice
  • As a global company, some early mornings, evenings, or weekends may be required
