The Opportunity
Our client is a global leader in sustainable building material solutions, transforming natural raw materials into innovative insulation products used across the residential and commercial construction industry. With operations spanning 40+ countries and a fiercely loyal customer base, they're growing their Western US sales team — and looking for a Territory Sales Manager to own the So. CA / AZ / Las Vegas patch.
This is a rare chance to join a business with a genuinely strong market position, high ethical standards, and a product line that customers actually love — while having real autonomy to build and expand your own territory.
You'll be based in or around Greater Los Angeles, reporting into the Regional Sales Manager, with no direct reports — this is a hands-on, relationship-first sales role.
What You'll Be Doing
- Growing and protecting the company's position as a go-to supplier of insulation products across the territory
- Building genuine, lasting relationships with distributors, retail/LBM locations, builders, and contractors
- Keeping a finger on the pulse of local competitive activity
- Hitting sales and profit targets while managing your own expense budget like it's your business (because in many ways, it is)
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of sales experience in building materials — non-negotiable
- Familiarity with construction or architectural industries
- A working understanding of the commercial construction process
- A college degree
- Genuine drive, energy, and integrity — the kind that shows up even when no one's watching
- Confidence presenting and training others
- Sharp time management and professional communication (written and verbal)
- Comfort with MS Office and CRM systems
- Willingness to travel — around 60% of the time, with roughly 40% overnight
What's In It For You
- Competitive salary from day one, plus full medical, dental, and vision coverage
- 401(k) match up to 6%
- Generous PTO, 12 paid holidays, and parental leave
- Educational assistance and real career growth pathways
- Fitness reimbursement and EAP access
- Company-provided PPE and a genuine safety-first culture
