Woods & Co Recruitment is excited to be recruiting for a Line Cook with a premier New York City dining establishment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a skilled culinary team and prepare high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, portioning and presentation.
• Set up and maintain assigned kitchen stations.
• Follow food safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to support smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist with inventory management, stock rotation and food preparation.
• Maintain efficiency and composure during busy service periods.
• Follow instructions from Sous Chefs and Executive Chefs.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience as a Line Cook in a restaurant, hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and time management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality food.
