What you’ll do:
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality, taste, and safety standards are met
Manage large-scale batch cooking and production schedules to meet deadlines
Train, mentor, and supervise production cooks and prep staff
Enforce health and safety regulations, standard recipes, and yield controls
Assist in scaling recipes for mass production, maintaining consistency and flavor profiles
Utilize inventory and ERP software to track ingredients, process vendor orders, and analyze costs
Create and manage production and labor schedules to optimize efficiency and stay within budgets
Navigate order fulfillment systems and logistics platforms to ensure timely delivery of products
Prepare and analyze KPI reports using Excel or Google Sheets for higher management
What we’re looking for:
2-4 years of leadership experience in a high-volume or production kitchen (e.g., Sous Chef, Production Manager, Lead Banquet Cook)
Strong understanding of food cost management, yield, and labor control
Proficiency with kitchen management software, inventory systems, and basic office applications
Valid ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification; familiarity with HACCP, USDA, or FDA standards is a plus
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to translate complex needs into actionable tasks
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Physical capacity to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and work in temperature-variable environments
